"Sretan Međunarodni dan plesa!" - Sindikat Narodnog pozorišta Sarajevo
Čestitka povodom Međunarodnog dana plesa
Sarajevo, 29. april 2025.
Posebno slavlje ove godine pripada Bosni i Hercegovini i glavnom gradu Sarajevu, gdje obilježavamo veličanstan jubilej – 75 godina Baleta Narodnog pozorišta Sarajevo.
Neka ples i dalje bude čin otpora, slobode i zajedništva. Neka nas podsjeća da su tijelo i duh jedno, a umjetnost – nepobjediva.
Sretan Međunarodni dan plesa!
Sretan jubilej – 75 godina Baleta Narodnog pozorišta Sarajevo!

Greeting on the Occasion of International Dance Day
Sarajevo, April 29, 2025
Today, on International Dance Day, we proudly and gratefully celebrate the universal language of movement, emotion, and expression – dance, that timeless art form that transcends borders, languages, and cultures. This day is dedicated to all those who dance, who create through the body, and who shape the world into a more beautiful, richer, and more sensitive place with their dedication.
This year, the celebration holds special significance for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital, Sarajevo, as we mark a magnificent milestone – 75 years of the Ballet of the National Theatre Sarajevo. This important anniversary is not only a reminder of the rich tradition of ballet in our country, but also a tribute to the perseverance, devotion, and strength of ballet artists who have, for generations, nurtured and developed this graceful art form.
The Ballet of the National Theatre Sarajevo is more than a stage and costumes. It is a space of courage, discipline, and tenderness. From its first steps in 1949 to today, Sarajevo’s ballet has produced countless talents, performed unforgettable productions, and become a symbol of artistic endurance – even in the most difficult times. The ballet halls of the National Theatre Sarajevo have been, and remain, sanctuaries of beauty, dreams, and ideals.
On this day, we express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone – dancers, choreographers, pedagogues, conductors, set and costume designers, and the loyal audience – who have woven themselves into the past and future of ballet in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We congratulate you; your passion and dedication leave lasting impressions.
May dance continue to be an act of resistance, freedom, and unity. May it remind us that the body and spirit are one, and that art – is invincible.
Happy International Dance Day!
Happy Anniversary – 75 Years of the Ballet of the National Theatre Sarajevo!
With respect and admiration,
Adnan Đindo
